In this workshop you will get a thorough introduction of the operation of a UAV. You will learn there is much more than just flying the plane. It begins with preparing in the office, planning the flight, operating the drone and processing of the data. We also want you to be aware of what you need to know before you can work with UAV’s in general for your country. Topics like air regulations, permits, insurance etc. will also be covered. We will demonstrate the Trimble/Gatewing UX5 outside on the Santa Barbara Property. We also want to inspire you how you can apply the UAV data in GIS.
